Rockford(aka Rocky) von Rhine is a stunning 18 month old long haired German Shepherd. He has that top breeder look like a show dog with his conformation and coloring. He is the sweetest dog, a big gentle guy on the mellow side. He is a dream on the leash and walks by other dogs paying them no attention. In playgroup, he prefers the calmer dogs instead of the more exuberant, rougher players. His last owner was forced to give him up because big dogs were not allowed in his rental apartment.  He is housebroken and we are told he is good with kids, but no cats please. He knows some commands like sit and stay, and we hear he might even know some German as well. This once in a lifetime dog's pictures on Facebook went viral. He likes to hang out and be the office dog. We had a bag of his things in the office, so Rocky went and found his bandana and wanted it back on. Anything that reminded him of home.
